What’s In Your Facebook News Feed?

In Tim Herrera’s article “What Facebook Doesn’t Show You,” he writes about an experiment he conducted to see just how well the social network knew his likes and dislikes.

The site is supposed to show us the most relevant content based on tracking our online activity – but in fact, only ends up showing us less than 25% of our total updates from all of our friends and ‘liked’ pages. So if you accidentally clicked on a news story on beekeeping, or some other unrelated topic of interest, expect to see more bees than friends in your daily news feed.
